The CB@STLCC program empowers motivated young people to succeed and overcome barriers they encounter navigating college at St. Louis Community College – Forest Park.

Are you a potential new student? Here’s what you can expect:

We work with you the summer before your first semester begins to ensure your classes and financial aid is in order. We also help get you familiarized with the resources the college provides to help you succeed.

You are assigned a coach who works with you each semester by meeting with you regularly, helping you set goals, and working with you to achieve them.

We provide educational and enrichment events throughout the year to help build community and propel you towards earning your degree.

You get access to opportunities like visits to potential transfer colleges, exposure to possible employers, gap funding for tuition and books, and mental health services for tough times.

Eligible Students

  • Have graduated from high school
  • Are attending the Forest Park Campus of St. Louis Community College
  • Plan to complete their college and transfer or get a job
  • Are motivated and interested in working closely with a mentor
  • City residency is preferred, but not required!
