About College Bound

College Bound is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping low-income and first-generation students access and complete higher education. We serve high school and college students across the Saint Louis area, offering personalized guidance and resources to help them thrive in school, graduate, and begin meaningful careers.

We primarily work with students who are low-income or the first in their family to attend college. Each of our programs has slightly different eligibility requirements, but all share the same goal: removing barriers to higher education success.

Applying to a Program

  • To and Through: For high school students starting support in 10th grade and continuing through college.
  • CB@STLCC: For Saint Louis Community College–Forest Park students seeking on-campus support.
  • CB@Ranken: For first-year Ranken Technical College students in day programs.

Our staff can help guide you to the best program for your goals.

  • CB@STLCC: Apply anytime during the school year through a short application and meeting.
  • CB@Ranken: Apply before or at the start of your first semester and meet with staff to create a plan.

We accept applications annually for To and Through (freshman year of high school) and on a rolling basis for CB@STLCC and CB@Ranken.
